My story

Hello, and thanks for stopping bye. My name is Tomika Mitchell, 30 years old from Queensland Australia.

I started my business 6 years ago in Australia selling my lockets at pop up stands in shopping centers which was an absolute blast! That didn’t last long after the discovery that a friend I met 10 years ago was actually the love of my life but he was all the way back in London! I had no choice but to follow my heart and here I am.
(These were two of the best decisions of my life!)

My life partners name is Oscar and when he’s not designing book covers and I’m not placing charms inside lockets we are both planning to go or probably dancing at some international music festival. mostly consisting of surf music, 50’s 60’s and 70’s rock’n’roll wearing Hawaiian shirts and sipping piña colada’s. (This is not an exaggeration!)

When I first discovered charm lockets i instantly fell in love with them. Holding one in my hand and admiring the beauty, the sentiment and the intricate charm designs along with the concept and the idea that you could put all the things you love in miniature form into a little capsule and wear it as an accessory! I just loved that every locked made was going to be truly unique to each person. Not only do they look beautiful but they are so much fun to create!

Deciding to start a locket business I now had a long process of finding and sourcing only the best quality of jewellery possible It definitely wasn’t always easy but it was always my main goal.
The lockets, chains and charms have to be durable and also look the best and I can truly say I have achieved that mission.
I now have an excellent relationship of four years with my agents and factories and they have never let me down producing the quality and the designs I require.
My main place of sale is Spitalfields market in East London, i have been selling there for four years and have built up a wonderful fan base for my stall. I am truly proud to be a small business owner and being a part of a wide community of creatives.
